She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Caskey and Lucy Adkins Caskey; her children, Cathryn Justice and Ricky Carter; and her sister Bertha King.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Pelfrey; her children, Bruce Maynard of South Point, Ohio, Loretta Caudill of Virginia and Nancy Estep of North Carolina; and her brother Otis Caskey. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.
