With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harry Adkins of Chesapeake, Ohio, who passed away on June 24, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Alton Jennings; his daughter Beverly Ann Adkins Elkins; his son-in-law Kevin Ray Barnett; and his siblings, Naomi, Glena, Karen, Viola, Virginia and Herbert.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Adkins; his daughter Nancy Lynn Day; his sisters, Regina Brumfield and Elsie Hager; his siblings-in-law, John Yates and Nancy Jones (Tom); his grandchildren, A. J. Day (Emily), Josie Day-Hoke, Megan Turner, Aaron Adkins and Dalton Elkins; and his pets, Buddy and Lilly. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
