He was predeceased by: his parents, H. L. Sheets and Norma Sheets (Stevers); and his brother Alan Sheets. He is survived by: his wife Gail Hesson Sheets; his brother-in-law Dwight Hesson (Kitty); his nephew Gary (Pat); and his nieces, Beth LaCourse (Dorian), Tammy Vorwerck (John) and Angie Hesson.
