He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel E. Lang and Carrie Schneider Lang; and his sisters, Faye Simpson (Walter) and Dorothy Lang. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Smith Lang; his daughters, Kathy Gosselin (Roger) of Getaway, Jenny Johnson (Tommy) of Getaway and Shelley Pinkerman (Andy) of Getaway; his grandchildren, Daniel, Jacob, Carrie, Kayla, Olivia, Jaydon, Sarah and Nathan; and his great grandchildren, Isaiah, Ivie, Renly, Ash, Nolan, Kinley and Kaylin. He is also survived by many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He loved his Panthers - missed games very rarely until Covid 19.
