He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert William and Beula Ellis (Hughes); his wife Joann Ellis (Hayes); and his parents-in-law, Carl and Charlene Hayes.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis R. Ellis (Cheryl) and Jana R. Nicholas (Randy); his grandchildren, Grant W. Ellis (Leslee), Jordan Faulkner (Matt), Jared G. Nicholas and Sidney Fetty (Michael); his great grandchildren, Cameron, Piper Faulkner and Elijah W. Ellis; his sister Carol Kilgore (Ellis); his niece Karen Keeney Clark (Bill); his aunt Mina Ellis; his brother John; and his sister-in-law Hilda Hayes. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there will be a private graveside service for the immediate family and burial in Langdon Cemetery, Getaway, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations in Bobby's name to Hospice of Huntington.
