He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Stanko and Jamima Stanko; and his grandparents, Frank, Anna Stanko, Jim and Dora Gayhart.

He is survived by: his wife Maura O'Beirne-Stanko; his children, Christine and Justin Stanko; and his siblings, John (Jennifer) and Jerry Stanko.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
