He is survived by: his wife Sue Ann Hale; his daughter Annette Paige Spence (Hale); and his grandchildren, Celeste Scheibert (Hale) and Camilyn Paige Scheibert of Centerville, Ohio..

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the First Baptist Church of Middletown.
