He was predeceased by: his brother Danny Gowitzka; and his grandparents, Luther Gowitzka, Emma Gowitzka, Bryan Griffin and Laurel Griffin.
He is survived by: his wife Clarice Koch; his children, Heather Garbe (Brian) and Greg Gowitzka (Ashlie); his grandchildren, Alexandra, Landon, Luke and James; his parents, Robert Gowitzka and Margory Gowitzka; his sister Bobbi Florez (Mike); and his brothers-in-law, Gary Koch and Dean Koch (Robin). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
