He was predeceased by: his former wife Barbara Hill (Grahl); his parents, Ernest Hill and Esther Hill (Hartley); and his brother Bobby. He is survived by: his wife Lorene Hill (Stein); his stepson Charles Elliott (Bonnie); and his sisters, Donna Logan (Rick) and Diane Schnell (Owen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and friends.
