He is survived by: his wife Carole Stover Dougherty; his children, Kerry J. Dougherty and Russell D. Dougherty (Lourdes); his grandsons, Thomas, Tyler and Shaun; his sisters-in-law, Sandra Zinsmaster Dougherty and Helen "Nutzi"; and his nieces and nephews, Joan Shoults, Dr. Cynthia Dougherty Thompson, Dr. Lynda Dougherty, Beth Stover Schaffer, Amy Stover, David Hoffman and Todd Stover.
