He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Bichsel and Annabelle Bichsel (Steves). He is survived by: his wife Theresa Bichsel (Kulp); his children, Helena Film (George), Michele Page (Bill) and Michael Bichsel (Heather); his grandchildren, Dakotah, Adam, Erin, Hannah, Samantha, Sydney, Andrew, Grace and Danya; and his great grandchildren, Storm, Adley, Josephine and Martha.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital.
