She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Gant and Geraldine Gant. She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Rabb (John); her sister Sharon Newkirk; her nephews, Jerry Newkirk (Audra) and Jimmie Newkirk (Coleen); and her close friends, Bill, Pat Wilson and Patty Huffman.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association) or ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Association).
