He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Ruehling and Fred Ruehling (Groff); his sister Elinor Gindlesberger; and his brother-in-law Joe Wise. He is survived by: his wife Judy Ruehling (Hess); his children, Jennifer Ruehling-Campbell (Charles), Mike Ruehling (Jodi) and Doug Ruehling (Lindsey); his grandchildren, Matt Campbell, WIll Campbell, Anna Ruehling, Luke Ruehling, Chloe Ruehling and Max Ruehling; and his sister Lil Wise. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Road, Copley, OH 44333.
