She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Lucas and Demple Lucas (Harris); her husband Charles E. Ball; her daughter Lisa J. Ball; and her siblings, Kathy Weimer, Marvina Washington, Alfred, Harry, Reese, Thomas, Robert and Harold Lucas.

She is survived by: her children, Susan Loraine Ball of Cambridge and Richard "Jeff" Ball of Cambridge; and her brothers, Dennis Lucas and Mark Lucas. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
