He was predeceased by: his parent Amos Love; his wife Marilyn June Pitts Love; and his siblings, Grace Love Parrish, Eldon, Ronald, Dwight and Blaine Love.

He is survived by: his parent Marjorie Hughes Love; and his close friend Jay Hammontree of Georgia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
