He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry William and Mary Jean Sanford Bird. He is survived by: his wife Corissa D. Teters Bird; his children, Marlena J. Forshey (Doug) of Caldwell, Mindy J. Bird of Caldwell and Travis D. Connolly of Caldwell; his stepchildren, Jason Clift (Alicia) of Caldwell, Jennifer Chambers of Caldwell and Joseph Clift (Dawna) of Caldwell; his grandchildren, Westin Forshey, Connor Forshey and Allie Thomas; and his sisters, Jacqueline Byrd (Lendel) of Caldwell and Sue Archer (Joseph) of Caldwell. He is also survived by several aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
