He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Matheny and Clara Perkins Bond Matheny; his wife Marilyn M. Davis Bond; his siblings, Clyde Bond and Bonnie Kominar; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Sherman, Gary Davis, Jim Rayner and Emil Kominar.
He is survived by: his children, Denise Young (Edsel), Jeffrey Bond (Kerri) and Tim Bond (Cathy); his sisters, Evelyn Rayner, Beverly McKee (Joe) and April Winburg (Gene); his sisters-in-law, Evelyn Davis and Alice Bond; his grandchildren, Shelli, Kelsey, Jamie, Noah, Benjamin, Kaci and Treavor; his great grandchildren, Brooke, Britney, Blake, Christian, Grayson, Mason, Chase, Khloee, Karlee, Deekon, Trinity, Temperance, Tierney, Braxton, Trenton and Trey; and his great great grandchildren, Bode, Lenni, Dale and Evelyn. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
