He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Johnson and Ocea Kirkbride Johnson; his wife Rosa A. Everly Johnson; his son Mancel R. Johnson; his granddaughter Sonia K. Johnson; his son-in-law George A. Morgareidge; and his sister Verna McClellen.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl D. Morgareidge of Caldwell, Roger L. Johnson of Belle Valley and Shirley D. Watson (Gary) of Byesville; his grandchildren, Denny, Mary Ann, Jennifer, Mancel, Candi, Brian, Joshua, Kari and Cheryl; and his sister Madlyn Cox of Michigan. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
