He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Chilcote and Beatrice Berry Sanford; his wife Eleanor Everly Sanford; his daughter Ann Sanford of Toledo; his grandsons, Sanford Everly Bennett (Christine Fair) of Toledo and Robert Russell Bennett of Austin, Texas; and his siblings, Donald Sanford (Patricia) and Irma Sanford Wheeler. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephew, and great-nieces and nephews.
