He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo J. "Lobby" and Rose Ann Mesarchik Mazgay; his wife Rebecca Susan Johnson Mazgay; and his brother John J. "Butch" Mazgay. He is survived by: his son-in-law Stacey; his daughter Stacey L. Smith (Bryan) of Purcellville, Virginia; his grandchildren, Madison M. R. Smith of Purcellville, Virginia and Cameron E. B. Smith of Purcellville, Virginia; and his siblings, David S. Mazgay (Catherine) of Sarahsville, Mark A. Mazgay (Tina) of Sarahsville, Monica R. Mazgay of Belle Valley and Melissa A. Ginn (Mark) of Caldwell. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
