He is survived by: his wife Sharon L. Styers Bruffey; his children, Carol Kellenberger (Dennis) of Clearwater and Larry L. Bruffey of Palm Harbor, Florida; his stepchildren, Andrewa Cutlip (Lynn Brinkman) of Brunswick, Starla Dahlquist of Billings and Sean M. Dingess of Columbus, Ohio; and his siblings, Nelson Bruffy (Peachy) of West Union, Mary Helen Mazzo of Athol, Alice Belle Brown of Morgantown, Janet Cochran of Hayes, Virginia, Naomi Clutter of West Salem, Ellen Ann Givens (Danny) of Roseburg, Charlotte Jeffrey (Jerry) of Bluffton, Karen Hall of Shelbyville, Vee and Nistendirk of Georgetown. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks friends to consider planting a tree in Homer's memory.
