He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Powell and Hazel Eschbaugh Powell; and his siblings, Dorothy Warner, Edna Anderson, Betty McVicker, Walter Powell and Donald Earl Powell.
He is survived by: his wife Carole Joann Perkins; his son Pastor John A. Powell (Belinda); his grandson Joshua A. Powell; and his sisters, Sylvia Mendenhall of Canton and Josie Williams of Kennonsburg. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; cousins; and many special friends.
