He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. E. G. Sr. and Mary Louise Samuels Ditch; his parents-in-law, Reginald E. and Vivien Sliter Phillips; and his sister-in-law Holly V. Phillips.
He is survived by: his daughter Beth V. Renner (Terry) of Zanesville, OH; his grandchildren, Nicholas R. Andrews and Josie Andrews; his son Edward Gerald "Jerry" Ditch III (Cherish) of Caldwell; his grandchildren, Corrin Elizabeth Ditch and Jeremy Edward Ditch; his daughter Laura P. Walker (Ben) of Cambridge; his grandchildren, Alycin S. Robinson, Levi Phillip Walker and Eva Louise Walker; and his siblings, Mary Louise Cox (Fred) of Caldwell, George Samuel Ditch of California and Lynn Taafe of California. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
