He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Joseph and Clara Belle Hannigan Chapman; and his son-in-law Michael Howiler. He is survived by: his wife Tipton Philomena Bonome Chapman; and his children, C. Gail Chapman of Jackson, Karen Lee Magruder (Greg) of Gainesville, Jeannette Louise Howiler of Caldwell and Paul David Chapman (Karen) of Cumberland. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
