He was predeceased by: his former wife Lucille Dennis Braden; his wife Wanda Harding Braden; his daughter Diana Denise Wilson; and his grandson Benjamin "B. J.". He is survived by: his stepdaughter Marjorie Ruppel; his brother-in-law Richard Haga; his sons, Jimmie Braden (Carolyn) of Hendersonville, Joseph Braden (Beth) of Pickerington and Jeff Braden (Norma Little) of New Philadelphia; his stepdaughters, Jeanne Hupp (William) of Caldwell and Carol Schell (Fred) of Caldwell; his stepson-in-law Marvin Ruppel of Caldwell; his grandchildren, Jennifer Wilson, Gregory Braden, Justin Braden, Christopher Braden and Carrie Braden; his siblings, George Braden (Ethel) of Buckeye Lake and Lucille Haga of Heath; and his former wife Mary Morris Hackley of Cambridge. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
