He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. and Alma Cook Baggott, Jr. (Taylor); his siblings, William R. Baggott, III and Barbara Ann Bennett; his brother-in-law Gershom Bennett; and his nephew William R. "Buzzy" Baggott, IV.

He is survived by: his wife Rita "Oma" M. Baggott (Heutle); his children, Jeanette M. Leon (Bobby) of Brookfield and James A. Baggott, Jr. of Brookfield; his grandsons, Robert, Leon, III and Joseph "Joey" Baggott; and his sister-in-law Barbara J. Baggott. He is also survived by his several nieces and nephews.
