He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Palmer and Bernice Palmer (Burge). He is survived by: his wife Ladonna Palmer (Stephens); his children, Richard Palmer Jr. (Chris), Lori Janiszewski (James), Leslie Zunn (Michael) and Brenda Palmer; and his siblings, Diane Kolenich, Lawrence Palmer Jr., Shirley Underwood and Robert Palmer. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
