She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Givens and Bertella Givens (Harper); her husband Robert Brown; and her daughter Denise Brown. She is survived by: her children, Joyce Hinton (Ron) of Bridgeport, Gary Brown of Bridgeport and Randy Brown of Bridgeport; and her siblings, Frank Givens of Bridgeport and Tillie Vinka of Bellaire. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren, also numerous nieces and nephews.
