He was predeceased by: his siblings, Walter, Barbara, Mary Alice and Nancy. He is survived by: his wife Joann Volan (Sustersic); his children, Marnie McCardle (John) and John Volan Jr.; and his grandchildren, John, Katherine and Robert McCardle.
