She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Agler and Kathleen Agler (Bettecker); her husband Emmett G. Shaffer, Jr.; her brother William Agler (Jane); and her son-in-law Thomas Agler.
She is survived by: her children, James Shaffer (Diana) of Stanwood, Jacqueline Agler (Thomas) of Dover and Jodi Egan (Tony) of Richardson, TX.; her grandchildren, Matthew (Lori), Laura, Daniel, Tom, Jennifer (Jeremy), William, John (Sarah), Michael, Sara (James), Andrew (Joanne) and Douglas (Ashleigh); and her great grandchildren, Sophie, Charlie, Caleb, Madeleine, Benjamin, Skylar, Autumn and Shaffer. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
