He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Bechstein and Joan Bechstein (Heinze). He is survived by: his siblings, Abby Bechstein, Amy Mareches, Tony Bechstein (Kathy), Jim Bechstein (Jackie), Glenn Bechstein (Diana) and Charlie Bechstein (Kathy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Sam's name to the church or to Bridge Hospice.
