George Howick Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Howick (Bowling Green, Ohio), who passed away on July 12, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Martin Howick of Virginia; his son John Martin Howick; his daughter-in-law Amy Sue Gose-Howick; his parents, Clara Meyer Howick Deloye and George Howick; his stepfather Norbert Deloye; his stepsiblings, Richard Deloye and Marlene Seger; his uncle Wilfred Meyer; and his aunt Mary Meyer Weisgerber.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Beth Hansley (Keith), Cynthia Ann Ross, Stephan Christopher (Laurel Fisher) and Michael Joseph (Allison); his grandchildren, Alys Ann Eaton, Emma Jean Hansley, Savanah Ross, Danielle Ross, Ian Howick Smith, Marine Lou Francis Howick, Jack Martin Howick and Kate Elizabeth Howick; his stepgrandsons, Joel Gollehon, Sean Gollehon and Seth Gollehon; and his great grandchildren, Ember Eaton, London Eaton, Alondra Scott and Lenah Berry.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in his memory to the John Martin Howick Memorial Scholarship Fund at Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio.
