He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Reitzel and Doris Reitzel (Diebert); his wife Deloris E. Priest; and his brothers, Charles and James.

He is survived by: his daughter Cindy Bassett (Tracy) of Bradner.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials in Duane's memory take the form of contributions to: Hospice of Northwest Ohio or Bowling Green Manor.
