He is survived by: his wife Lynn Mizer; his children, Dr. John Rootring (Beau), Norma Jean Fearon (Mike) and Jeff Rootring (Kathy); his stepdaughter Kristy J. Ruof; and his grandchildren, Kyle Rootring (Kelsey), Zach Rootring, Ellen Hamsted (Dan) and James Rootring.
