He was predeceased by: his brother Coleman Knoop (Mary Lois); and his significant other Mary Gahman. He is survived by: his former wife Eloise Crawford; his sons, Lauren Knoop of Casstown and Leland Knoop of Dunkirk; his nephews, John Knoop (Melinda) of Tipp City and Paul Knoop of Youngstown; and his friend Sheila Hughes of Ada.
