He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Flick and Phenelle Flick (Habegger); his former wife Mary Williamson Flick; and his wife Ruth Baughman Unrau. He is survived by: his children, Kathy Traucht of Bluff City, Tennessee, Thomas Flick (Jean) of Sherman and Mark Flick (Sharon) of Marysville, Ohio; his grandchildren, Matthew Traucht, Nathan Traucht, Simon Traucht, Greg Flick, Annie Ball, Chris Flick and Tyler Flick; his sister Marilyn Diller of Bluffton; and his friend Phillip Traucht of Rawson. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
