He was predeceased by: his son Roger Badertscher; his son-in-law Dave Honse; and his siblings, Leonard Badertscher, Lorain Badertscher, Lester Badertscher and Lucille Hunt.
He is survived by: his spouse Ima Jean Montgomery Badertscher; his daughters, Janet Honse of Findlay and Karen Brown (Donald) of Bluffton; and his grandchildren, Dave Honse (Andrea), Linda Deal (Scott), Chad Brown (Raechel), Jason Brown, Cindy Lee (Dennis) and Angela Carr (Jacob). He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
