He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Cansler and Katherine Cansler; and his brother James. He is survived by: his wife Rose Mary; his sons, Ralph T. Carver, Jr. (Pamela) and Trevor A. Cansler (Karen); his grandchildren, Katelyn, Danielle, Abigail Carver, Parker Swank and Evelyn Cansler; and his siblings, Jeanette Cherry (John), Robert Cansler (Annette), John Cansler (Erma), Barbara Perdue (Obey) and William Cansler. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
