He was predeceased by: his child Shawn Edward Griffith; his stepchild Juliet M. Wiles; his sister Arlene Schultz; and his stepgranddaughter Amber Wiles. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his son Joseph Robert Griffith; his stepdaughter Amy T. Sharp (Jim); his siblings, Evelyn Patton and Michael Griffith; his grandchildren, Jett, Fox Griffith and Kai Duncan; and his stepgrandchildren, Alex Redifer, Jaimie Sharp, Jasmine Wiles (Bach) and Candice Wiles.
