He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Akers and Louise Akers (Collins). He is survived by: his wife Mary Akers (Nezbeth); his children, Michele Hill (James) and Angela Akers (Kevin Kisik); his grandchildren, Dustin Akers, Katelyn Hill, James Jr. and Richard Hill; and his siblings, Donald, Roger, Harold Jr. Debra, Annette, Shelle, Theresa and Brenda.
The family would like to encourage proper social social distancing and wearing of masks at all times while indoors.
