He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Raymond Simmons, Sr. and Dorothy Simmons (Hoalcraft); and his wife Carol A. Simmons. He is survived by: his children, Brian Simmons, Jason Simmons, Brenda Simmons, Jamey Simmons and Daniel Simmons; and his siblings, Darrell, Ricky Simmons and Rose Varner. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren.
