It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oma A. Goodman (Bellville, Ohio), who passed away on January 18, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dele Shelton and Maggie Shelton (Salyers); her husband Ray W. Goodman; and her siblings, Frances Lowe, Carson Barton, Bill Barton, Claude Shelton and Roy Shelton.
She is survived by: her pet Bailey; her children, Sharon Richards of Butler, Jeff Goodman of Butler and David Goodman (Cathy) of Florida; her grandchildren, Stacy McCown (Lynn) of Volant, Luke Goodman (Kayla) of Bellville, Lisa Timmer (Mark) of Mansfield, Melissa Carpenter (Wayne) of Fredericktown and Samantha Goodman of Columbus; her great grandchildren, Amara Jose, Mariah Goodman, Bruce Campbell, Lucas Jr. Goodman, Ben Campbell, Noah Goodman, Garrett Lane, Grady Goodman, Hudson Timmer, Eric Shrock, CJ Carpenter and Natalie Carpenter; and her siblings, Barb Faber (John) of Sunbury and Ira Shelton of Lexington.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sharon Richards so the family may choose a charity in honor of Oma's memory.
