She was predeceased by: her parents, Tolby Edwards and Inez Murphy Edwards; her former husband Gaynor Mitchell Sr.; her husband Freddie Weikle; her daughter Cindy Louise Hicks; her stepchildren, Jonathon Lee Weikle and Evelyn Delores Mast; her grandson Nathaniel Monroe; her brothers, Billy Joseph Edwards and Douglas M. Edwards; and her brothers-in-law, Harold Weikle (Lucille), Theo C. Weikle (Frances), Mayo Weikle (Ruth) and Forest C. Weikle (Peggy).
She is survived by: her children, James Gaynor Mitchell, Jr. (Tamala) of Mansfield, Tolby E. Mitchell of Bellville, Scott Elwood Weikle of Mansfield, Kimberly D. Monroe (Larry) of Mansfield and Tia Marlene Weikle of Mansfield; her stepson Clifford Blake Weikle of Ashland County; her stepdaughter-in-law Susan Weikle; her granddaughter Amanda Furlong; her sisters, June Marlene Danison of Mansfield, Shirley Jean Nicholson of Mansfield and Linda Sue Gleisinger (Paul) of Mansfield; and her sisters-in-law, Ova Weikle (Lamar) of Martinsburg, WV, Letsie Walton (Charles) of Covington, VA and Shirley Jackson (Harold) of Greenville, WV.. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
