She was predeceased by: her parents, Larwell Kent and Irma Kent (Coulter); and her siblings, Pat Mullens, Mercedes Moore, Barbra Kent, Carole Hauptmen and Howard Kent.
She is survived by: her husband Edward Spain; her daughter Sonja Mendes; and her granddaughter Morgan Todd. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
