He was predeceased by: his son Kevin Schonauer; and his siblings, Eileen Lemley, Helen McCoy, Barbara Scott and Gary Schonauer.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Shinabarker (Chris) of Mansfield, Karin Bouvier of Inverness, FL., Kim Hansen (Roberta Parsell) of Columbus and Kyle Schonauer (Joy) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Eric, Steven, Dillan, Collin, Bayley Schonauer, Joe Hansen (Jamie), Tiffany Saele (Alan), Mandy Schonauer, Lindsey Howald (James) and Ellie; his siblings, Max Schonauer and Maxine Hardin (Cliff); his brothers-in-law, Willard Arnold (Edna) and Richard Arnold (Helen); his niece Paula Schonauer; and his wife Allene. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Bellville-Jefferson Township Fire Department or SouthernCare Hospice.
