He is survived by: his children, Douglas Dean Snell II of Mansfield, Ann Shirley Snell, Micah Wolf of Rogers, AR, Thadeus Amadeus Snell (Michelle) of Sesser, IL, Shelby Lynn Henke of Denver, CO, Tyrus Lee Snell of Mansfield, Courtney Diane Snell of Columbus, Phoebe Olivia Snell of Mansfield and Emily Marie Snell of Bellville; his siblings, Chris Snell of Fredericktown, Marcia Moore (Larry) of Fredericktown, Rodney Snell of Zanesville, Serenea Carpenter (Mark) of Butler and Kiplin Snell (Debbie) of Chesterville; and his mother Shirley Ann Snell of Fredericktown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to assist Doug's family with funeral expenses may be made to Snyder Funeral Homes.
