She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas E. Garfield II and Lillian K. Garfield (Sanefski); her husband Julius Takacs; her boyfriend Earl Pay; and her siblings, Dennis Garfield, Jean Harpole and Thomas Garfield III.
She is survived by: her children, Beth Southard (Rex) of Bellville, Kathy Fry (Dale) of Bellville and Julius. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Vernon Meals on Wheels or Hospice of North Central Ohio.
