He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thompson and Mary Thompson (White); his son Jeffrey Thompson; and his brothers, Jim Thompson and Lawrence Thompson.
He is survived by: his son Stephen Thompson (Starla); his granddaughter Patti Constance (Jim); his great grandchild Paula Thompson; his sister Pat Niswander; and his close friend Karen Spiess. He is also survived by her 4 children and Lisa Miller and her 2 children.
