He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles T. Nevers and Stella M. Nevers (Brown); his wife Doris M. Nevers; and his sister Geraldine R. Kelsey. He is survived by: his daughters, Sarah Nikki Parmer (Larry) of Bellefontaine and Lisa Epperson of Bellefontaine; his grandchildren, Dustin Epperson (Laura), Tori Rose, Kiersten Parmer, Erica Egler (Sean), Gage Parmer, Makayla McGuire and Chantz Rose; his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Marcus Epperson, Arianne, Nolan, Avery Parmer, Tru and Julian Egler; his siblings, William R. Nevers (Carol) of Bellefontaine and Clara Mae Mangen of Greenville, Ohio; his nieces and nephews, Angel Nevers and Dianna Bondar; his cousin Dan Nevers; and his close friend Charley Hoge.
