He was predeceased by: his parents, Upton Emerson and Margaret Coy (Pleasant); his grandson Jonathan M. Coy; his siblings, Harold Coy, Sharon McCracken, Martha Knabe and Donna Guntle; and his brother-in-law William Frick.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta Elaine Coy; his sons, Jim Coy (Tina) of Morristown, TN, Scott (Maria), Cris (Shelley) and Bruce (JoDee); his grandchildren, Eric Coy, Brian Coy, Chelsea Coy, Anthony Coy, Lindsay Coy, Elizabeth Baumgardner (Dustin), David Coy (Jordy), Cortney Coy, Jamey Coy, Allen Coy, Cody Coy, Jessica Voice (Jason), Joseph Dean, Brandie Dean and Danielle Davis; his siblings, Raymond Coy (Sandy), Charlene Snowden (Bill) and Janet Hancock; and his parents-in-law, Jim, Jean Frick, John Frick, William, Barbara Rueger, Bud and JoAnn Rueger. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
